Lockard & Wechsler Direct is hiring an Advertising Account Supervisor to join our linear TV planning team. The Account Supervisor plays a crucial role in the development of media plan and media strategies following the objectives and goals outlined by clients. We’re looking for someone with experience overseeing the implementation of media buys and providing insight and analysis across all media, while also managing the growth of the team. This is a client facing role – the account supervisor is the primary client liaison to the agency and ensures that all projects are completed to the client’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor day-to-day activities relating to assigned account(s); maintains day-to-day client
• Develop and/or supervise media plans and implementation while thoughtfully considering and evaluating all opportunities
• Develop and oversee clear and effective marketing objectives and strategies for assigned clients and campaigns
• Oversees development of objectives, strategies/plans, and presentations
• Manages the daily workflow of Planners to achieve plan goals; manages and directs requests/projects for the group
• Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal team
• Actively participate in new business development
• Train, supervise, and manage the development of the Assistant Planners, Account Planners & Senior Planners, in all aspects of media planning, campaign management, media research, account management, traffic and client service.
• Works as a partner with DRTV buyers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Thorough understanding of direct marketing, and media planning
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to media strategies
• Excellent mathematical ability: can understand and evaluate budget/results date effectively
• Advanced ability to present and sell agency recommendations, and ability to represent the agency at client meetings
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, and motivate strategic thinking
• Ability to manage, train, and delegate effectively
• Excellent listening and organizational skills
• Ability to work on multiple accounts effectively
• Computer proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Power Point
